Well, phase one of the website makeover is complete.  The site has been moved to the new hosting provider, and it looks like the DNS changes have taken.  Next on the list is to upgrade the blogging software. 11:51:40 AM

Wow!! Its been 16 months since I last had an entry!!  Well it is time to redo this site.  It is time for Extreme Website Makeover.  Actually, I will be moving this site to a new hosting provider, and I will be making a number of other changes.  The changeover should occur this weekend.  Stay tuned!! 8:58:09 AM

I have modified the weblog to have the navigation links on the left side.  I have added the active links from my former home page.  I then made the weblog the home page for the domain.  I still have three pages which need to be converted to the new style:  Software Projects Project Page, Home Projects project Page, and Photo Album. 11:29:24 PM

I just updated the About Me page on my website.  Now that I have put up my credentials, I can start putting up editorials [Now Playing: Pat Metheny Group - American Garage - The Search (04:55)] 11:23:06 PM

I just added categories to the web log.  The categories that I added were: Editorials, Everyday Things, Home, Software, and Website.  Editorials will be the category that I will use to mark postings which are editorials on computer software and its development.  Everyday Things will cover posting on interesting things that my wife and I have been doing.  Home will cover posting on projects regarding our house and yard.  Software will cover postings on software projects that I am currently working on.  Finally, Website will cover news on changes to this website, like this very post [Now Playing: Don Sebesky - Symphonic Sondheim Sweeny Todd Suite (13:15)] 12:36:08 AM

I just put up the first few pictures for the photo album.  I do not like how Frontpage sets up the photo gallery.  When a user clicks on a picture, a medium size picture is sent down, instead of the full size image.  I will probabaly will set things up differently over the next few weeks. 9:08:19 PM

I just signed up for the Weather Channel's Weather Magnet to place the weather on my site.  However, the script that they e-mailed me does not seem to work.  I am going to have to debug this.  Maybe they are expecting the server to process the script, instead of the client, or maybe the scripting language is wrong.  Earthlink, which hosts my site, uses PHP, not ASP or ASP.NET. 11:58:03 AM

I just got the Radio FTP upstreaming setup, and now the weblog feature of my web site is now up and running. 11:49:49 AM
